Who's behind this

The Shane Collins Wiki is an independent parody/comedy project that was originally created by Kokota The Goat, an independent web developer, but is now owned & run by Brad Springall, who also manages the creative and promotion side. It's an ongoing project we've been adding to since mid 2026, a running joke in our friend group that turned into a small site.

We're not a company, we're not affiliated with any brand, certification body, or organisation referenced anywhere on the site, and none of it is meant to be taken as fact. It exists purely for entertainment.

The Shaneaverse, for the record

The Shane Collins Wiki documents confirmed sightings of Shane Collins across the world. Shane has always existed, and will continue to exist in an ever-expanding number of forms. No one can stop him.

No two appearances are ever alike. Yet all are, unmistakably, him.

Editorial standards, such as they are:

• Verification: a sighting is added once at least two contributors are fairly confident about what they saw.
• Neutrality: entries are written from a neutral point of view, except where Shane's inherent charisma makes that impossible.
• Dating: forms are catalogued earliest first. Time moves differently in the Shaneaverse.
• Diet disclosure: all confirmed forms are noted as grass fed unless credible evidence suggests otherwise. No credible evidence has ever suggested otherwise.

This wiki isn't exhaustive. The amount of shane variants, by all current estimates, are infinite. New entries go up as sightings are confirmed.

Who can edit?

Anyone with a genuine sighting to report may submit it via the contact popup. Submissions are reviewed by the editorial team before publication.

Vandalism, unverified claims, and attempts to document a Shane who is not, upon reflection, sufficiently Shane, will be reverted.
